As a child, Steven is very quiet and timid most of the time, but deep down, all he wants is to be a regular, happy little boy. As an adult, he is still quiet, but has developed quite a temper, often flying into fits of rage and aggression over the tiniest of things. Background:
As a child, Steven lived with his parents, like most children. However, his family was far from ordinary. His father was abusive to both him and his mother, and would often beat the two of them, though more often his mother rather than him. His father's abusive nature caused Steven to become very timid and afraid, and also caused him to develop various mental disorders, the most pronounced being Schizophrenia. When Steven was fourteen, during one of his Schizophrenic episodes, he had had enough of his father beating both him and his mother, so he took his father's gun and shot him right between the eyes. He then proceeded to kill his mother, as well. Afterwards, he was admitted to a mental institution, where he was kept for eight years, until he showed great improvement and was released. Soon, he met a woman around his age named Ethyl. The two of them really hit it off, and were married the very same year. They had a daughter together, and were very happy for the next four years. Until that fateful day, that is, when Steven had a severe relapse and killed his wife and daughter and was readmitted to the mental institution.
